We believe that hot yoga has the power to transform the body and mind, and that the effects of this transformation greatly impact all areas of our lives. We strive to provide a safe and loving community for everyone to enjoy the healing benefits of hot yoga.

Rocktown Hot Yoga offers 90 minute 26&2 classes. These will always be the same 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises that take place in 105 degree heat and 40% humidity. These classes are great for beginners and long time practitioners alike.

The 60 minute 26&2 is an abbreviated version of the 90 minute class.

The Heated Flow classes are taught in a warm room at 98 degrees between 30-40% humidity and are a Vinyasa style yoga. Our Flow classes are centered around matching our movement to our breath. Flow is a playful, energetic style of movement that combines flowing from one posture to the next with steady holds and is sometimes set to music. Our Flow welcomes all levels of practitioners and can be modified to suit the needs of the student.

Rocktown Hot Yoga opened its doors in July 2019. The owner, Jake Snyder, has taught yoga since 2016 and fell in love with the Harrisonburg community while teaching at the previous hot yoga studio here. He enjoys teaching both the traditional 26&2 sequence and the more spontaneous Flow classes.
